Membership Information

When you join Baptist Health South Florida Federal Credit Union, you become more than just a customer - you become a member of a not-for-profit, cooperative financial institution. Serving it's members since 1961, Baptist Health South Florida Federal Credit Union offers a wide range of services to meet the financial needs of you and your family.

As a member, you actually are an owner of the credit union. You are entitled to vote in elections held annually to fill positions on the voluntary Board of Directors. Acting as representatives of the total membership, it is the Board of Directors who governs the activities of the credit union and sets it's policies and guidelines.

Our goal and commitment is to provide the best possible service to our membership. We look forward to serving you.

Membership in the Baptist Health South Florida Federal Credit Union is open to the following groups:

• Employees, doctors, medical staff, technicians, contract workers, medical and health care students who work in or paid from Baptist Health South Florida facilities located in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties, Florida; volunteers who work at these facilities under supervision of hospital staff; members of the Board of Directors, trustees and members of the hospital auxiliaries.

Once you join the credit union, you are always a member, even if you leave your job, retire, or move out of the area. As long as you maintain your account, all benefits are available to you. Becoming a member is simple - just visit your nearest BHSF FCU branch.
